Ferrari chairman John Elkann has fired a criticism at Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, insisting that they have to “speak much less” and “focus” on driving. 

Elkann’s feedback have been made following a disastrous São Paulo Grand Prix for the Scuderia, which noticed each Leclerc and Hamilton retire in Interlagos. 

Leclerc was pressured to retire after being taken out on the sixth lap on the first nook by Kimi Antonelli, who made contact with the Monegasque after being hit himself by Oscar Piastri. 

As for Hamilton, who began thirteenth in Brazil, he was pressured to retire from the race as a consequence of substantial flooring injury, sustained after he drove into the again of Franco Colapinto. 

The end result was a dangerous one for the Maranello-based squad, who slipped to fourth within the constructors’ standings and now sit 36 factors adrift of Mercedes in second. 

Brazil left Elkann upset, who vented his frustration after Ferrari secured the World Endurance Championship (WEC) title in Bahrain on the identical weekend.
