The Jacksonville Jaguars are buying guard Daniel Faalele from the New York Giants in trade for a late-round decide within the 2027 NFL Draft, a number of media retailers reported Wednesday.
The reported commerce comes on the heels of Jaguars guard Patrick Mekari’s current again surgical procedure.
Faalele, 26, began each sport at guard for the Baltimore Ravens the final two seasons and joined the Giants as a free agent in April. The 6-foot-8, 370-pound Australian has made 66 profession appearances (35 begins) since becoming a member of the Ravens as a fourth-round draft decide in 2022.
The Giants have veteran Jon Runyan and 2026 first-round decide Francis Mauigoa as beginning guards, making Faalele expendable.
