I would like Herb Dean to be within the cage each single time. … I imply, like I stated, should you’re a fighter, you’re a fighter. So, should you’re actually making an attempt to battle to get that win, Herb going to present you loads of alternatives.”
“I really feel like there’s too many refs with too many various concepts and views on how they need to see the battle when it shouldn’t be constructed like that,” Buckley stated. “I believe whether or not it’s Mark Smith or Jason Herzog or Dan Miragliotta, or my man Beltran or Herb Dean and stuff, all of them do completely different jobs at reffing. And after I take a look at boxing, and I take a look at the refs that’s been within the sport for a very long time on their aspect, all of them do the identical job. When the battle will get up within the clinch, they break it up. It’s like they don’t search for something completely different. They follow no matter regulated guidelines is to the sport.
“However I really feel like with sure guys, even when I’m dropping names like Jason Herzog, he’ll take a look at a battle and if it’s on the bottom, he’ll maintain it on the bottom. He received’t stand it up by any means, and also you may choose and select who that may be, however then what made making a decision to select that one up and never the opposite one? And that’s one factor they need to clarify a bit of bit extra, they usually don’t. Even after we’re on the again, and we’re speaking, we ask some questions. So, I believe there’s lots that may change concerning the reffing typically. However no, I like Herb Dean, finish of story.”
