The Blood and Guts version of “AEW Dynamite” is at all times certainly one of, if not probably the most violent nights of the yr for All Elite Wrestling, however I do not assume anybody anticipated the non-wrestling segments to be stuffed with such venom and hate. Nevertheless, Bandido had a rating to settle with Swerve Strickland, and we now have ourselves a Texas Loss of life Match, girls and gents.
The story between Swerve Strickland, The New Stage, Hangman Web page, and Brodido has been constructing excellently over the previous few weeks, particularly since AEW WrestleDream 2026, the place Web page, Bandido, and Brody King regained the AEW World Trios Championships. Strickland, clearly not over the truth that Web page bought one over on him once more, has gone rogue and tapped again into that hateful facet of his to get again at his long-time rival. It is gotten to the purpose the place Kofi and Austin Creed are realizing that teaming with Strickland is not what they signed up for, as he may be out of his thoughts, but it surely was Bandido who misplaced his thoughts this week.
After being battered and bloodied by Strickland final week, Bandido bought again at him by attacking Kofi backstage, leading to a wild brawl between Bandido and Strickland that spilled out into the world and nearly led to Strickland having his head taken off with a metal truss (actually, Bandido dropped it after being speared by Creed and it grazed the again of Strickland’s head). Bandido and King have been in the identical boat as Kofi and Creed on the subject of the Strickland/Web page saga in that they only wish to be good lads and have good matches and have numerous respect for each other since all of them love wrestling deep down, however for Bandido, it is crossed a line now.
The New Stage did not need a Texas Loss of life Match at AEW Full Gear 2026. Web page informed his companions that it wasn’t a good suggestion, and everybody other than Strickland gave the impression to be studying off the identical sheet. However Strickland went too far, and out of everybody, it was Bandido who pleaded with Web page to simply accept the problem since he is the person with probably the most Texas Loss of life expertise in AEW. Web page reluctantly agreed, and at Full Gear, Web page, King, and Bandido will defend the AEW World Trios Championships in probably the most violent stipulations in all of wrestling in opposition to Strickland, Creed, and Kofi.
An excellently informed story pushed additional by an important phase involving all six guys, and it is resulted in maybe probably the most anticipated trios title match in AEW historical past being put collectively. Strap yourselves in girls and boys, as a result of the sandy desert will likely be painted purple at Full Gear.
